Jumper, shoes, bag, earrings - New Look; skirt - H&M

Personal story time: 2 years ago, I’d have shied away from an outfit like this. The skirt clings to my stomach, highlighting each inch of fat. The jumper is so short that moving my arms reveals my stretch marks. I was determined to hide my fat, or to at least give myself an hourglass figure. But now, I honestly don’t care. Going out wearing a short skirt that shows the cellulite on my thighs and the bulge of my belly is empowering. Wearing a jumper which flashes my stretch marks and scares is empowering. Loving myself just as I am is empowering.
